The CONMED System 5000 Electrosurgical Generator is designed to provide controlled monopolar and bipolar energy delivery for a broad range of general, laparoscopic, robotic, endoscopic, gynecological, urological, and other surgical procedures.
This refurbished and recertified system is supplied with a mobile trolley for convenient positioning, organization, and transportation within the operating room or surgical department.
The System 5000 incorporates CONMED Dynamic Response Technology, which continuously monitors current, voltage, and changes in tissue impedance. The generator automatically adjusts energy delivery to help provide a consistent and controlled surgical effect across different tissue types.
Multiple pre-programmed specialty modes allow the generator to be configured for different clinical applications. These include General, Lap, Fluids, Pulse Cut, Pulse Coag, Micro Bipolar, and Macro Bipolar modes.
Lap Mode limits voltage in all monopolar modalities to below 2,700 volts, helping reduce the risk associated with capacitive coupling during laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Pulse Coag Mode delivers pulsed coagulation energy to support controlled hemostasis with reduced tissue carbonization compared with standard coagulation at equivalent settings.
The System 5000 also offers nine programmable memory settings, allowing commonly used configurations to be stored and recalled. Illuminated accessory connection ports support convenient setup, while the Automatic Return Monitor continuously monitors compatible patient-return electrodes.
