Olympus PCF-H190DI EVIS EXERA III HD Colonovideoscope with ScopeGuide

The Olympus PCF-H190DI EVIS EXERA III Colonovideoscope combines high-definition imaging, a slim insertion design, and advanced scope-positioning technology for diagnostic and compatible therapeutic procedures within the lower gastrointestinal tract.

The PCF-H190DI provides a wide 170° forward-viewing field of view and a depth of field ranging from 2 to 100 mm. Its HDTV-compatible imaging system supports detailed endoscopic observation, while Olympus Narrow Band Imaging technology enhances the visualization of mucosal structures and vascular patterns.

The scope incorporates Olympus Responsive Insertion Technology, which combines High Force Transmission, Passive Bending, and adjustable variable stiffness. These technologies are designed to improve scope handling, torque response, insertion control, and navigation through acute bends in the colon.

High Force Transmission supports pushing, pulling, and rotational control, while Passive Bending allows the insertion tube to move more smoothly through challenging anatomical bends. The variable-stiffness adjustment ring allows the operator to change the rigidity of the insertion tube according to procedural requirements.

The PCF-H190DI also features integrated ScopeGuide compatibility. When connected to the Olympus UPD-3 Endoscope Position Detecting Unit, ScopeGuide provides real-time three-dimensional visualization of the scope’s position and configuration during insertion. This functionality can help the operator recognize and manage scope loops during colonoscopy.

The scope has an 11.7 mm distal-end diameter and an 11.8 mm insertion-tube diameter. Four-way tip angulation provides 180° movement upward and downward and 160° movement to both the right and left.

A 3.2 mm instrument channel accommodates compatible endotherapy accessories for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The auxiliary water-jet channel helps clear mucus, blood, and debris from the examination area to maintain visibility during observation and treatment.

The waterproof one-touch connector is fully submersible and eliminates the need for a separate water-resistant cap during reprocessing. Its design also helps simplify connection and setup between procedures.

The PCF-H190DI is the intermediate-length configuration, with a working length of 1,330 mm and a total length of 1,655 mm. It is designed for use with the Olympus CV-190 Video System Center, CLV-190 Xenon Light Source, and compatible Olympus endoscopy equipment.
