The Olympus CF-HQ190I EVIS EXERA III Colonovideoscope combines high-definition imaging with advanced insertion and visualization technologies for diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy procedures.
Olympus Dual Focus technology allows the operator to switch between normal and near-focus observation modes. Normal focus provides a depth of field from 5 to 100 mm, while near focus provides detailed visualization from 2 to 6 mm. The scope offers a 170° field of view in normal mode and a 160° field of view in near-focus mode.
The CF-HQ190I is compatible with Olympus Narrow Band Imaging technology, which enhances the visibility of mucosal structures and vascular patterns. Its advanced optical system is designed to provide bright images, improved contrast, reduced image noise, and reduced halation.
The scope incorporates Olympus Responsive Insertion Technology, which combines High Force Transmission, Passive Bending, and adjustable variable stiffness. These technologies are designed to improve torque control, scope handling, insertability, and navigation through bends in the colon.
Its 12.8 mm insertion tube, 13.2 mm distal-end diameter, and four-way tip angulation support controlled navigation through the lower gastrointestinal tract. The 3.7 mm instrument channel accommodates compatible endotherapy accessories for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
An auxiliary water channel supports irrigation of the examination area. The scope also features a waterproof one-touch connector that is fully submersible and eliminates the need for a separate water-resistant cap during reprocessing.
ScopeGuide functionality can provide real-time three-dimensional visualization of the scope’s position and configuration when used with a compatible Olympus ScopeGuide system. This can help the operator identify and manage scope loops during colonoscopy.
