Olympus PCF-H180AI EVIS EXERA II HD Colonovideoscope

The Olympus PCF-H180AI EVIS EXERA II Colonovideoscope combines high-definition imaging with a slim and flexible insertion design for diagnostic and compatible therapeutic procedures within the lower gastrointestinal tract.

Its HDTV-compatible imaging system is designed to produce clear, detailed images with accurate colour reproduction when connected to a compatible Olympus video system. Narrow Band Imaging enhances the visualization of mucosal surfaces, vascular structures, and capillary patterns that may be difficult to distinguish under conventional white-light observation.

The PCF-H180AI also features Olympus Close Focus technology, allowing detailed observation from as close as 2 mm without electronic magnification or loss of image resolution. Its forward-viewing optical system provides a 140° field of view and a depth of field ranging from 2 to 100 mm.

The scope has a slim 11.7 mm distal-end diameter and an 11.8 mm insertion-tube diameter. Olympus innoflex Variable Stiffness technology allows the operator to adjust the flexibility of the insertion tube according to the anatomy and requirements of the procedure.

Four-way tip angulation provides 180° movement upward and downward and 160° movement to the right and left. A 3.2 mm instrument channel accommodates compatible endotherapy accessories while supporting suction during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

An integrated auxiliary water-jet channel allows sterile water to be directed toward the mucosa to help remove mucus and debris and maintain a clear field of view. The water jet may be activated using a scope control button or a compatible footswitch and flushing-pump configuration.

The PCF-H180AI also includes Olympus Scope ID functionality. A built-in memory chip stores individual scope information and displays it through a compatible system to support equipment identification and endoscopy-suite management.

The PCF-H180AI is the intermediate-length configuration, with a working length of 1,330 mm and a total length of 1,655 mm. It is designed for use with compatible Olympus EVIS EXERA II video-processing and illumination equipment.
